The Hartford Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority,
Inc. along with the Connecticut Black Governors
hosted the Annual John E. Rogers Memorial Open Golf Tournament
at Keney Park Golf Course in Hartford, CT. The event raised
over $2,500.

Proceeds from the John E. Rogers Memorial Open Golf Tournament
will go to support the John E. Rogers African American Cultural
Center (JERAACC). The John E. Rogers African American Cultural
Center, Inc. was established to stimulate pride while empowering
the African American community of Connecticut with the knowledge
of its own unique history and culture. JERAACC will serve as a
historical and educational institution for research on the lives
and culture of African Americans.
